Prior to the Fair:
1 – Using the Fair Catalog (hard copy or online) determine which department,
division, and class your entry belongs in.
2 – Based on the department and division your entry qualifies for; determine when your
entry needs to be entered. With the exception of livestock, rabbits, and poultry, all fair
entries need to be made Saturday, August 20, 2016 between 10 AM and 3 PM. Live
stock entries need to be preregistered on or before July 30, 2016 using the online
registration at Rabbit and poultry entries need to be
preregistered using the forms provided prior to the date listed on the form for that
specific entry.
On Saturday August 20, 2016:
3 – At the fairgrounds, between 10 AM and 3 PM obtain an exhibitor number from the
Jefferson County Fair. Exhibitor numbers are distributed under the picnic pavilion from
10 AM until 3 PM on Saturday August 20, 2016 only. (If you already received your
exhibitor number in the mail this year, prior to the fair, you can skip this step)
4 – Take your entry and exhibitor number to the appropriate department based on the
determination of the division and class for your entry. Remember that your entry must
be accepted before 3 PM on Saturday August 20!
5 – A department volunteer will then direct and help you to finalize your entry.
6 – All entries must remain in place until Saturday, August 27 at 9:30 PM.
